Gentle and colorful part II
Monday, 30 September 2019
As you can see both parts of this set again come simultaneously. All shown photographs have also been taken already backin 2018, but didn't fit into any of my former postings. Hope you like them anyway. Cheers.
New life side by side with some remains of the last year.
While I was just happily shooting these wonderful aligned two Wood Anemones and the fast moving reflections in their background, all of a sudden this Honey Bee showed up in my viewfinder and I just pressed the shutter twice and was extremely lucky to capture the flying insect right above the blossom and sharp at f2.8, looking into my direction and with one fleeting dot of light in its background.
One of my favorite orchids in a meadow full of other flowers during a rainy day in early June.
An image of a brave Christmas Rose from March 2018 as the temperatures constantly fell below -10°C.
Actually I don't know many places where Snowdrops and Common Hepaticas can be found blooming side by side like in this little forest in Upper Austria. So, I'm happy, I found this lovely setting as the sun went down.
The water in the background reflects the different colors of the surroundings.
Unmown meadows, which can be found in some parts of mountain areas, provide countless floral treasures.

Gentle and colorful part I
Monday, 30 September 2019
I guess truly everyone enjoys the presence of flowers and so do I. Although blooming flowers and other blossoms actually can be found at most times of the year and also today, like Cyclamen or Autumn Crocuses, spring and early summer are of course the best seasons for these little colorful pleasures. So when autumn's just around the corner, I think it's a good moment to share some spring flower pictures.
I missed a stunning sunset because I just couldn't resist these lovely orchids along my way.
I found this beauty while I was actually looking for Lady's Slippers.
Taking a closer look at some Snowdrops at sunset.
Probably one of the most tender flowers of Austria covered in morning dew.
A very rare variety of the Common Hepatica are the pink ones.
Marsh Marigold can be found close to ponds, stream and on other very wet soils.

Days of yellow part II
Friday, 27 September 2019
Again I decided to upload more than one posting simultaneously to speed things up a bit ... Autumn is probably the best time for landscape photography. Due to the changing foliage, intense colors can be found everywhere and due to the often rainy weather they really start to pop up. And beside that, the light during the cloudy days allows to shoot at any time of the day, not only in the morning or evening hours. And for a fog lover like me, this time of the year usually offers also quite a lot exciting foggy moments.
It always amazes me how fog transports light into the woods. But it actually even more amazes me how fog also transports colors into the woods.
A mainly wild stream of emerald water running through the colored landscape.
Postcard weather invited us for a walk around the lake.
All shades of yellow covering the woods.
When some soft fog brings the blue of the skies into the forest.
For creek photography I always wear my waders, so that I can easily get the view I want, without getting wet and cold.
Lots of Beeches can be found in the woods along the Salza River. So, when they're dressed up in fall colors, the vista is gorgeous.
I really like the parts of the forest where the floor is covered with grass.
Finally a thick layer of fallen foliage stretches all along the shore.
