Delights nearby - New gallery

There are six national parks in Austria and I visit five of them quite frequently since I started taking pictures. Just the one, which is located nearest to my hometown, is the one I haven't been for about eight years or so. Don't ask me why ... So my autumn trip in 2021 to the Limestone Alps National Park was definitely long overdue and I extremely enjoyed these days there. And since I finally went through all the impressions I captured there during my stay, I would like to share an other temporary gallery here, the 2021 Limestone Alps gallery. I'm super excited my image Heat of Hoar came out as the winner of the Plants & Fungi category of the Nature Photographer Of The Year 2021 . A great pleasure, that this little piece of nature's magic was selected from more than 20,000 images of almost 100 countries.
The media coverage of the Nature Photographer of the Year is also quite huge and I'm pretty honored, that there are numerous prestigious or large newspapers worldwide like The Guardian, GEO or Daily Mail featuring my work.

Natürliche Nähe Kalender 2022

Der Natürliche Nähe Kalender 2022 zeigt wieder ausschließlich Fotografien aus den Auen rund um Linz, die im Zuge meines Projektes Natürliche Nähe entstanden sind, und kann ab sofort vorbestellt werden. Der Kauf unterstützt mit € 3,00 pro Exemplar die Arbeit der Stadtgruppe Linz des Naturschutzbundes Oberösterreich und fließt direkt in den Schutz der oberösterreichischen Auen. Der 14-seitige Kalender wird auf 250g Papier im DIN A3 Format gedruckt und kostet per Stück € 25,00 (exklusive etwaigem Versand).

Natürlich gibt es auch heuer wieder eine vollständige Online-Vorschau.
