Final mix part I - New Zealand part XXVI

(Since, as you all probably know already, my main goal is to raise awareness for the importance of wild nature by showing it in my images, it seems important to me to display some of the pictures, of course. Unfortunately I still just cannot find the time to write the articles I would like to here on my website for all my series of images. So I decided to show the upcoming sets of images just with a very few words instead of not showing them at all. Sorry for that. Hope you enjoy the pictures nevertheless and may they hopefully speak for themselves. And of course, your thoughts and feedback are welcome anytime.) The series you can see in this blog entry shows the second last part of my New Zealand series. You'll find some mixed leftovers of our trip.

Projects update

After I finally finished processing at least most of my 2020 images, I just uploaded about 45 new pictures to the projects galleries of "Habitats" and "Silhouettes of Grace" here on my website. So, everyone's invited to take a closer look at these galleries. Hope you enjoy.

The gallery of Silhouettes of Grace also contains a few images of plants, like this orchid impression.

Among lots of others, also this image of a very memorable encounter with some curious and fluffy Red Fox cubs can be found in the gallery of Habitats now.

Some pictures, like this one, showing a Gray Heron at Lake Neusiedl, made it into both galleries.

The series you can see in this blog entry shows a few pretty similar exposures of a one-night-stay at a particular coastal area along New Zealand's rather rough west coast.

The diversity of structures and shapes at low tide there is just amazing.

Wet feet guaranteed. For both of us ;)

Although this beach isn't that large, one night is way too short to explore a place like this, of course.

Beside the great vista to the open sea, there are just countless extremely fascinating details to discover.

Another mesmerizing rock formation, which is hidden underwater most of the time.

As you can see, the sea stacks in the background are always the same. So all these images were taken just on a pretty small part of the coast.

And an other very interesting patterned area of rocky ground.
