I prepared three series of images which contain new spring pictures of the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel National Park. Two of them are bird only and as you can see this is the second one. Although I was only out a few times, this spring sessions were actually quite productive for me. As mostly I was just wandering around with my telephoto lens looking what will come my way. For me the most pleasant kind of photography. So I'm already looking forward to my upcoming trips into this area.

Actually I would love to write longer articles in my blog entries, because there are so many stories behind all these images, but unfortunately I just cannot find the time. So at least I basically decide to show some of the new photographs without losing much words. Hope you agree.

Long time no see ... Although half of the year is already over, it's the first time I could manage to go through and process some of my new images and to upload them here. But of course, there's already much more of 2018 in the pipeline and one day I'll find the time to show a little more of my new work here ;) This first set contains bird pictures from Austria's easternmost national park called Neusiedler See - Seewinkel. Since my last exhibition took place in the visitor center of the park, I spent a few days in the area for the installation and the demounting and I could also find some time to grab my camera to take a few images. And as always, to experience the birdlife of the national park was a great pleasure.

BioPhotoContest 2018

Again I'm very pleased to announce that some of my images received an award in a prestigious international competition, this time the BioPhotoContest. The yearly topic of this competition always refers to one of the erath's biomes. This year "Prairies, steppes and savannah". So it was actually quite a challenge to compete with Africa's amazing grasslands ;) You can see my successful images below.
